Tonight we will screen "Hitlerjunge Quex: Ein Film vom Opfergeist der deutschen Jugend" as part of this semester's PG Kino series "Filming Fascism." The film, made in 1933, stars Heinrich George as the Communist father of a young boy who defies the family's wishes and joins the Hitler Youth with grave consequences.

I hope you will join us as we continue to explore the representation of National Socialism on film. As always, the screening will be introduced by a graduate student from the department and followed by a discussion. The screening will take place in Rockefeller Hall 132 at 7:30pm.
