For those in the Ithaca area, the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival will be screening The Counterfeiters four times this weekend. The film, which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film this year, will be shown at Fall Creek Pictures on
Friday, April 4 at 7pm
Saturday, April 5 at 2pm & 9:30pm
Sunday, April 6 at 9:30pm
matinees cost $6.50 and evening screenings $8.50. Additional information is available on the FLEFF website, linked above.
Though this blogger had a negative reaction to the film, it is absolutely worth seeing, and I'd be interested to hear what others think! Also, make sure to check out all the other films being shown at FLEFF this weekend. This festival focuses on community and each screening is followed by a reflection by a volunteer and a group discussion.
